About the Role
As an Electrician's Mate, you will be responsible for supporting our electricians in all aspects of their work, including installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems. Your duties will also include the following:
Responsibilities:
Assisting with the installation of electrical systems in commercial and residential properties
Preparing materials and tools for installation and maintenance jobs
Conducting basic electrical testing and fault-finding
Helping with the maintenance of electrical systems
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Communicating with team members and clients in a professional manner
Requirements
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
A willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians
A basic understanding of electrical systems and wiring
The ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
A positive attitude and a willingness to work hard and learn
Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with clients
